Funny Truths About Parenting Told From a Baby’s Point of View!

One of a kind personalised book about parenting as told by a baby author.

Dear parent reading this,

raising a baby is demanding. But it’s also full of funny moments that will pass you by if you don’t stop to appreciate them. That’s where Diary of Silas comes in. This book is all about the true side of parenting where no detail is left out and parents of all sorts catch a glimpse of the rocky adventure that is the first year of having a baby.

– Ryan, dad of 2

OUT NOW!

Maybe you already have some “baby books”. Most parents do. The only problem with books like these: they’re all written by adults! Diary of Silas is our way of saying – and showing! – exactly what the life of a newcomer to the world looks like for a baby and their parents.

Show me a book you can personalise like this, and I’ll show you a baby who sleeps all night!

The Life and Times of Baby

This book comes complete with some of the major diary entries of a baby’s life for you to enjoy. You get to choose 10 to create your book. Each comes with a snapshot of the world – starring the parents – as seen from a baby’s perspective.

Nappies may leak, but my eyes don’t miss a thing! Some entries include:

  1. Screaming in the Car (some driving, too)
  2. Getting Kissed by Strangers (and telling!)
  3. (Crashing) Valentine’s Day
  4. Going on Vacation (and beaching about it)
  5. Going Viral (also, being an internet hit!)
  6. Alien Abduction
  7. Finding Treasure (or maybe trash?)
  8. Dreaming (about being asleep)
  9. Throwing Food (mostly on daddy’s face!)
  10. Eating Out (at a restaurant)
  11. And many more!

Parenting 101

This diary is for all the tired, stressed-out parents who need to know they’re not alone. Give them this diary, written by their baby, to show them their chaotic life is exactly as it should be.

But be warned! This book contains suggestive content, but really just for the purpose of turning stressful situations into funny ones. Babies are still figuring out how adults speak, so you might see some lines like:

“Sweet, white powder that I could sniff out a mile away”
or
“That beach better have my Mummy!”

But our baby author believes that writing a diary is just like snack time – a little forking around never hurt anyone.

Baby Got Back Up

This baby didn’t put this book together all by himself. Since it’s a personalised book, you get to personalise both parents and the baby you’re giving it to! So, he asked for illustrator extraordinaire himself – Jeremy Polonen – to help him with the visuals! Check out just a few of the options you have!

You can personalise both the parents!

He also got help writing it, too, but from two people you’ve never seen nor heard of because they spend all their free time at home taking care of young kids. Remember, embrace parenthood, you’re not alone.
